This scene from Much Ado About Nothing, involves Hero, a young noblewoman, and her servant Ursula plotting a matchmaking scheme. They are attempting to set up Hero’s cousin, the lady Beatrice, with Benedick, who she argues with often. In this scene, Hero has sent her other servant to tell Beatrice that she overheard the girls talking about her. When Beatrice appears on the scene, Hero and Ursula begin their plot, saying that Benedick is madly in love with Beatrice, but that they could never tell her because she would mock him terribly.
